The INPUD-A is an intelligent system for the continuous transfer of power and up to four analog sensor signals (voltage, current), from indexing tables or moving parts across a small air gap contactless to a stationary PLC or other control devices. The INPUD-A inductive coupling system consists of two modules: a stationary module and a mobile receiver module. Within a few milliseconds, high signal integrity serial data is transferred across the air gap, from one module to its companion. Any combination of up to four analog sensor signals will be continuously transferred. INPUD-A operates in very demanding industrial conditions, including machine coolant, dust, water and oil. There are no moving parts to wear out or service.
