INPUD-SLK (Inductive Power and Data Transmission for Serial Bus Systems) represents the basis for a modular system for contactless
transmission of electric energy to supply electrical consumers. These consumers are preferably located on rotating or moving devices or machines, i.e. where a conventional cable, plug or slip-ring connection is not possible. The reason for this could be, e.g., automatic changing of gripper systems, or that transmission via a slip ring is just not economically sensible due to high speed, 24/7 operation or
technical safety considerations. In addition to energy, electrical data in transparent mode are transmitted for communication between
controllers.
